AT Day 117: Killington Peak
Daily Miles: 16.2, Total Miles: 1,711.5
The challenge for the day was climbing up and over Killington Peak, the mountain being home to the largest ski area in the northeast. The trail is clear of ice and snow but the upper ski runs still have some snow. Beautiful clear day!

Got down to Vermont Route 100 and then a short walk into Killington. I treated myself to a stay at Greenbrier Inn with the added bonus of the post office next door and the Killington Deli & Market across the street. I took the free community bus towards the Village and found a laundromat. For dinner, I enjoyed a huge sandwich and potato salad from the Deli. I’m sure I’ll be back there for my zero day tomorrow!
