AZT Day 4: Patagonia

After one night at the Stage Stop Hotel, Chris and his wife, Debbie, dropped me off at Harshaw Road this morning and I strolled back into Patagonia. Mrs. Haze came down later in the day with my re-supply box and we are staying at a local B&B.

While loitering around town, I ran into another AZT hiker, Jeremy, from England, who had just arrived. He said he followed my footprints through the snow in the Miller Peak Wilderness Area. He plans to average 20+ miles per day to finish before Easter but has been having some issues with the cold nights. Good, luck, Jeremy!

The Duquesne House B&B is well done with nice garden areas and an inviting hammock. Mrs. Haze and I met Jeremy later at the Wagon Wheel for a beer and good burgers.
