CDT Day 112: Zero Day in Lima MT
Daily Miles: 0, Total Miles: 1,956.2
I had a relaxing day of leisure and healing. Good meals at Jan’s and a most excellent evening with Glen at the Peat Steakhouse. The concept is “we serve it, you cook it”. Great steaks, nice music and good conversation with the young owners, Shay and Blaine. They are also avid fly fisherpersons!

Speaking of healing, I went to the only store in town, an Exxon gas station, in search of gauze pads to tape over my large, now skinless heel blister. I found an $8 first aid kit that had one 2″x@’ pad – only one day’s worth. Instead, I went to the counter with a Gatorade and a package of Carefree pantiliners. Maybe a bit self-conscious and raised eyebrows from the clerk, I felt I had to explain myself. She, being a volunteer emergency responder, applauded my improvisation. One pantiliner equals 3 pads – hope it works.
