CT Day 4: Lost River to Kenosha Pass
Daily Miles: 22.8, Total Miles: 72.0
The first thing I noticed when I woke up was that I could see the moon – this meant clear skies! The second thing I noticed was that it was much colder and I had to put on wet clothes.
I set out on a brisk pace up the misty North Fork Lost Creek all the way to the headwaters. Leapfrogging with Amin and Petra, a hiker couple I met yesterday. Took awhile for the sun to reach the meadows but it was a welcome relief.

I re-entered the heavily forested Lost Creek Wilderness for several miles to Rock Creek. Had a late lunch and dried out some clothes. Weather still holding, I climbed to a ridge that took me down to Kenosha Pass and a real CG. A picnic table and trash receptacle, real hiker luxury items.

I saw a mama moose and her baby and several deer today. Also more mushrooms I have seen since the state of Washington on the PCT. I passed another SOBO couple along the way.
First day without rain and I can see the stars!
