PCT Day 30: On to Casa de Luna (Anderson’s)
Daily Miles: 24.2, Total Miles: 478.6
The PCT goes right through Agua Dulce, so convenient to stop at the Sweetwater Cafe and have a big breakfast.
I hiked up two large hills including the “Z” trail out of Agua Dulce. I also enjoyed two water caches, one with soft drinks on ice!

Finally got down to a ranger station and road going into Green Valley. I met a local couple who offered the two-mile ride to Casa de Luna, home of Joe and Terry Anderson, another great trail angel couple.
The evening tradition is for everyone to pick out their choice of Hawaiian shirt and eat a big taco salad.

Some good music tonight provided by Tumbleweed and Justin. Justin now has the trail name of Puma after a face-off with a mountain lion the day before. Puma said he was regretting sending his large knife home after I shamed him days back for carrying unnecessary weight.
